Why does everyone have to put all their shows on Thursday? And what happened to Human Target? When does that air? It actually looks good. Shows I'm not watching anymore because they got so lame last year...Heroes, Desperate Housewives, Private Practice, and now that they're killing off my favorite character, Grey's Anatomy. I'll still also try and watch Rachel Maddow and ER reruns on TNT everyday. TNT is airing ER in order, and they are currently on season 7. Also watching The Tudors and Leverage on Netflix. OK, I watch a lot of TV...I should be ashamed of myself...but I'm not :) I gotta watch my stories (said in old lady voice talking about her soaps).
I've come across a shit load of people's blogs that I adore, and I would love to feed them into livejournal. BUT it doesn't look like that is an option. What do you guys suggest as far as a user-friendly blog feeder? I still prefer livejournal for my blogging and to see all your blogs, but I want a simple way to subscribe to others. OK, the end.
So an old friend from high school used the word "fag" in his status. Well, I don't keep that hateful, negative energy around my facebook fee so, I told him that I was defriending him. He asked why. I told him. Then get this...apparently he has several gay friends so it was no big deal, and I need to be more "open minded". huh?
Finished watching the FNL and T:SCC finales this weekend. These are the two shows that totally own my soul. Both shows are completely different from each other. Both shows have miserable ratings. But I don't care. They own. my. soul. I won't go into any specifics as I don't want to spoil anyone, but I'm pleased with how T:SCC ended. If it is indeed the end (oh, God please no), I will think that it ended full circle (those who have seen it will probably know what that means). And the cold heart scene....oh, gentle TV gods. That was the sweetest metaphor of first time you know what that I've ever seen. Awkward and sweet. And if I didn't know that FNL had another two years I would be a complete mess right now. Thank the gods that it has two more for sure years (and THANK YOU DIRECT TV). OK, that is all.
So in honor of the Oscars, I'm taking a break from Netflixing TV series. I just finished Weeds, and I want to start up The Wire soon. But, I just want to watch some movies right now!!! SO, what should I add to my que? It doesn't have to be anything recent, or Oscar nominated, or have famous actors....it just has to be something good!! So, tell me something to add :)
I really liked Dollhouse. I mean, I really, REALLY liked it. I know I will eventually love it. but I just can't say that I love it quite yet. The way Joss writes makes me always want more, but I tend to fall in love gradually rather than right away. That's how it was for Buffy, Angel, and especially Firefly which was a much harder sell for me. OK, below is some MAJOR spoilers, so if you haven't watched it yet, don't read. OH, and it's on hulu.com if you missed it last night.
( What I loved, what I didn't like, what surprised me, what I haven't decided on, and theories!Collapse )
Just set my Season Pass Manager on my Tivo to record Dollhouse. I can't believe it's already here, woo hoo!!!
Now I must plan a Dollhouse party :)
I'm sure this has already been passed around, but I JUST watched it this morning. So Funny!!! This is my first time that I've embed media, so I hope I did it correctly.
Current mood: amused.
So, I don't know why....possibly me being wrapped up in Christmas shopping, reading, or watching Josh...but I have completely neglected to notice that my son can write. We got Colin a really cool art easel for Christmas, and he was writing yesterday! He showed me an "A" then a "P"...thinking he could only do a handful of letters, I would then ask him to write a "K" which I thing would be a difficult letter to learn. By George, he did it. He did EVERY letter I asked him to write. I don't remember knowing how to write when I was 4. My child is a genius. That is all.
